The Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice was founded in 1969 and soon established an outstanding reputation both in the Czech Republic and internationally. Over the years, the orchestra has been led by a number of distinguished Chief Conductors, including the legendary Libor Pešek and Petr Altrichter.

Renowned for its refined sound and artistic excellence, the orchestra is a sought-after partner for recording projects with prestigious international labels. Its core repertoire focuses on the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, and Ludwig van Beethoven, while also embracing Baroque, Romantic, and contemporary music, including high-quality crossover projects.

The orchestra's principal activity is its subscription concert series in Pardubice, attended by more than 1,300 subscribers. Due to the strong demand, most subscription programmes are performed three times to sold-out audiences.

Alongside its concert activities, the orchestra has built a strong international presence through high-quality audiovisual productions, streaming platforms, and social media. Its current flagship project, Beethoven 200, is devoted to recording the complete symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven.

Since the 2025/2026 season, the orchestra has been led by its internationally acclaimed Chief Conductor Vahan Mardirossian, who continues to strengthen its artistic profile while preparing the celebrations of the orchestra's 60th anniversary.
